Mission statement:
Women in Licensing is dedicated to accelerating the advancement of women in the technology and licensing professions.
WiL accomplishes this mission by:
- providing a platform for women to develop and demonstrate their professional, leadership and licensing skills,
- exposing women to business leaders and mentors,
- participating in initiatives that develop women's leadership and strategic thinking skills, and
- recognizing women that are licensing technologies to change our world in positive ways.
The Women in Licensing Committee will promote:
- Mentoring: talk to experienced women about their licensing experiences and career paths
- Networking: talk to other women about licensing opportunities, job opportunities and the best companies to work for
- Education: identify and recruit female speakers on topics of interest to all licensing professionals and
- Best Practices: share your company's practices for finding and recruiting qualified female employees, and discuss how to obtain commitment from the top at your company to hire, train and promote women in licensing, technology and management positions.
